Can you get back paid for games on a suspended account?

Please help!! The advisor I've just been talking to could not!! My silly 14 yr old son has gone and got himself permanently suspended.

I've asked the enforcement team to review it but had no reply back. I have spent a small fortune on games for him, recently purchased For Honor with various credits packs plus other game bundles and I've lost count on all the Destiny payments. These are
the recent purchases. The list dating back to 2013 is very long!!

Does anybody know if all the games are forever lost or can I get them back? Its really aggravated me that although Microsoft are punishing him with the ban, its me - his mother that's paid the price! Is this the norm? In which case I will never purchase
games and really consider chucking his pride and joy in the bin ! Thanks in advance. Helen

If it's a billing suspension you'll get it back once you've paid off what you owe. If it's a proper suspension it would've said you'd been suspended and then given you a date for when you can come back.

 

Playing Games before Release Date?

You will run a risk if you do so, many stores a legally obligated to only sell games on release date. I know a few gamers who have been banned or suspended for playing certain games early. However, if you can prove that the game is a legitimate paid copy
you can reverse a ban.

 

The games you purchased will remain under the same account yet since the account in question is permanently suspended you will have access only to the games that are already downloaded in your console.

I suggest you to wait for the verdict of the case review you have filed and to read The Code Of Conduct

As per the code of conduct/terms of use that everyone has to agree to when starting a account you forfeit all digital content,remaining xbox live gold etc if a account is permanently banned.

As long as the console is the home console & set in offline mode you can still use that content while not connected to live but it can't redownload it at any time.

This wont work for games like Destiny as it is an online only game.

Yes,it is the norm,it has been like this for over a decade.

Permanent bans are issued as a last resort,usually if the offence committed is severe or the account has been suspended several times before.
