Can you continue Yakuza 4 Remastered save between Xbox cloud and console?

I did not mean to ask whether the save was synced between cloud versions on different devices. What I meant to ask if whether the save could be synced between the cloud version and the locally installed console version.

Xbox Cloud Gaming (formerly known as Xbox Game Pass Ultimate) is a streaming service that allows you to play a selection of Xbox games on compatible devices, such as an Android phone or tablet, without the need for a console. When you play a game on Xbox Cloud Gaming, your progress and save data are stored on the cloud servers and are synced across all of your devices.

Actually, this is incorrect. I bought a bit of Game Pass today and decided to try it out myself, just in case. There is absolutely cross-progression/saving between the Xbox Cloud and local Xbox console versions of Yakuza 4. Dunno how to mark my own post as the answer.

The cloud version of the game is the console version. So that should work for any game you already play through the console.

Thanks for clarifying. Sadly, it is not possible to transfer save data between the Xbox Cloud Gaming service and a locally installed console version of a game. The save data for games played on Xbox Cloud Gaming is stored on the cloud servers and is not accessible on a local console. Similarly, save data for games played on a local console is not synced with the cloud.
