    I'm currently trying to get an addon for a game I bought on Amazon as a physical copy but it won't go through. Not sure if this is the problem or it s something else. I have contacted support and they
    couldn't figure it out but are trying to get a specialist on it.

    Considering most DLC comes in the form of digital purchases you shouldnt have a problem buying an add on for your game, it sounds like a server issue on microsofts end

    Try to buy the dlc you want in the online store, and see if that helps you out.

    Yeh I've done this plenty of times for dlc.

    Maybe try a full restart and power cycle it.

    Yes, you can buy digital dlc for physical games. Might be a temporary issue. Have you tried an Xbox power cycle?
