Can you ask for a LIVE extension?

Okay so not only did my LIVE expire one day before it was supposed to (Dec 2 instead of the 3), there was a service disruption of LIVE with hackers or something so I didn't get to use my LIVE what were supposed to be my last 2 days.

I know 2 days isn't much, but I still paid for it. I should get to use it....

I haven't heard anything official from Xbox Support, but a few people have said they (or their friends) received some compensation for the downtime. Obviously we don't know if they're telling the truth, but if you'd like to give it a shot, you can try contacting

One word to the wise, do not try to contact Xbox CS for that compensation, they do not have the ability to do so. if it is going to be awarded it will be automatically so via MS.

As to your sub 'ending early', that is unlikely as your billing date is not always the same as your subscription date AND it is not based on your local time zone but on the MS time zone (I believe it is PST/PDST).

 

Yeah well...it ended 4pm Dec 2 pst time, when it was activated 2pm September 3rd pst time. Which means it should have expired 2 pm Dec 3. Yeah no. that is a HUGE hour difference. 20 hours. So yeah, the computer *** something up.

And like I said. I AM PST TIME. It should've been very exact for me then.

All this bad language on the forums is hurting my eyes, I've never seen so many stars in my life.

You could try appeal your case to them, but at the end it's just a 50/50 chance. If they feel it's necessary to do so they may grant that compensation.
