plugged into the Xbox One's USB port when your console is turned off in the "Instant-on" power mode.

No, connecting your iPhone to the Xbox 360 will only allow it to charge it's battery.

If you wish to stream music from your iPhone to the Xbox 360 you'll need to get an application on your iPhone such as "sync:stream" (among other applications).

You can charge them using any USB connector I'm charging mine through my iPhones cube charger so it's ready to rip when my arrives tomorrow
