Can Windows 10 run games from Windows Vista?

So what you're saying is I can download and play Anywhere games on my windows Vista as long as I have the xbox app installed on it, right?

As per XBF Amber M's reply. You can't download the Play Anywhere titles on Windows Vista, you need
Windows 10

Although to be honest, if your computer is running Windows Vista, it's probably a very old machine. It won't have the hardware requirements to run any of those games anyway.

What make and model is your computer?

Thank you, well… probably the game is not compatible with Windows 10 / 11 systems anymore.

You can try running the game in compatibility mode for windows 7 or windows vista to see if something similar happens or not

To do that follow these steps:
Right-click the program icon > Properties.
Select Compatibility > under Compatibility mode, check Run this program in compatibility mode for
Expand the list and select Windows 7 first. Click apply and save/OK
Open the game. If the same happens select Windows vista instead and try one more time

"for windows 10" it's just a marketing tagline added onto a bunch of games in the windows 10 store whe then OS launched to signify it only ran on 0 and not xp, 8or vista. It will run on windows 11, it will run on windows 12 almost certainly and so on and so forth. Minecraft is unlikely to stop updating until doing so becomes unprofitable which shows no sign of being anytime soon

I'm not sure what you mean by this. You've either got Windows 10 or you've got Vista. Please tell us what you have and what the age of the computer is please. If you can, please provide its make and model.
