    Microsoft confirmed just before the backward compatibility started that games that required peripherals such as Rock Band, Lips, DJ Hero, Guitar Hero would not be backward compatible as the peripherals were not compatible with the Xbox One.

    You can use the Xbox 360 wireless instruments on the Xbox One using the Rock Band 4 adapter, but only for Rock Band 4

    Hi I'm sorry but the guitars must be compatible with 360 not if you use a PS2 product on Xbox I'm sorry. The backward compatibility of Guitar Hero is not there, since lately they are no longer successful,
    I would recommend you buy an Xbox One game since you can use a real guitar.
