Can we please have more than 12 characters for our Gamertag?

I don't understand. My gamertag with my old xbox live account have more characters than 12 characters.

The limit of 12 characters just started last year. So if those gamertags were created before the new policy was put in place, they could have more than 12 characters.

I apologize but for Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S consoles there is nothing that we can do with Gamertag that is more than 12 characters long. According to Xbox Support: "Gamertags can be up to 12 characters long, including spaces. They can’t start with a number."

The old limit was 15 characters so your old gamertag couldn't of been 16 characters long.

You might still be able to change to a tag with more than 12 characters if you do it on a xbox 360 console unless they've fixed that workaround but other than that then you will have to stick with the 12 character limit.

Today more one user can have the same gamertag, for that the #0000 in front of gamertag like the Nick name of Discord For exemple. Because this, the gamertag is limited today for 15 character I tink

Partially true. Gamertags can have up to 12 (or 13) characters, if they choose one that's already taken, then they will be assigned a suffix.
