    Can we make a push for Xbox to stop allowing Online games to implement quick resume..


    On any multiplayer titles quick resume will try to resume the game state that we had when closing out the game but because this game requires a ping to the server it just glitches out and sends us back to the same menu we started in. It seems like NO triple A devs can realize how much worse this feature makes there game function so I think Xbox should either be informing devs in some manner OR straight up disabling there ability to implement said function because it does little more than to make the game take longer to enter. I've actually been using the quick resume list to contact devs and tell them about this dilemma and almost every one that I got a response from in fact disabled the feature. It sucks they have to already put the development power and it has to pop up in insider for me to prevent this.

    Quick Resume is a feature that allows you to quickly switch between multiple games without having to wait for them to load again. However, it's possible that some games may not be compatible with Quick Resume.



    To troubleshoot this issue, I recommend trying the following steps:



    1. Make sure that your Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One console is up to date with the latest system updates.



    2. Try restarting your console and then launching Red Dead Redemption 2 again.



    3. If the issue persists, try uninstalling and then reinstalling the game.



    4. If none of the above steps work, it's possible that Red Dead Redemption 2 is not compatible with Quick Resume. You can check the list of games that support Quick Resume on the Xbox website.

    You need to make sure ni games are running and check the quick resume. The system prioritizes up,loading last. Some games won’t even push a screenshot till you quit

    Quick resume is broken and breaking my xbox

    Any game does matter what it is, we see the lag only when resuming, we have to stop the game and start it back for it perform like normal.

    Power cycling is pretty much the same to stop the game.

    we've done it both ways and the issue returns.

    Doesn't happen all the time but, often enough that's it's annoying and defeats the purpose of quick resume.

    As an achievement enthusiast, I can assure you it's working just fine

    One thing you should never do is allow games to use quick resume, as that is the fastest way to screw up achievements. Disabling quick resume is being explored, but is not known at this time whether or not it can be done

    It’s 2023 is there a way yet to completely and permanently disable quick resume on games?

    As of this moment, the only way to stop quick resume is to quit the game you're currently playing.
