can we get an actual baseball game?

I understand we have RBI baseball but all baseball fans will agree that's an atrocious joke, I didn't honestly mind 2k baseball it wasn't perfect but I enjoyed it. It's been what about 3 years since we've had an xbox baseball game, I think it's time Microsoft
stepped up or had someone make a baseball game.

Are we ever going to get any new MLB games for Xbox? RBI Baseball isn't my thing and I don't get why 2K stopped making baseball games.

According to Xbox's boss he would love to see a real baseball game for Xbox but we haven't seen anything close yet, it'd be great if they'd actually show that they care about what we think..

 

I would die for a baseball game on xbox one.

 

Get few billion of dollars. And get a MLB game right. And uses of player rights. And developed a game. But in the gaming world. Baseball was not profitable since the 16-bit days of gaming. Since everything then was in 2-D and not in 3-D. But other sports
like football and basketball are still sales millions of copies of the game. Baseball video games are not as big as the good old SNES days. Most gamer want more shooters and other blood bath games. But as for now. Baseball still draws a crowed in real life
one. And still draw rating on TV. But video games it hard to draw gamers to one those days to get them played them. And gamers want played a sport game. It two I said earlier. And baseball got the shaft in the video game business. That why developers don't
bather getting a MLB game rights. Because it dose not sale millions of copies of the game in sales wise. Game developers care one thing. And that the green backs. And if it dose not bring enough back in there pockets. they will not make any more. And moved
on to other kind of games to make millions off of. So it much dead in video games goes. Because gamers are not willingly buying baseball games then they did in the SNES days of gaming. it like side scrolling games. they came and gone. So unless you got billions
of dollars laying around. It going be a hard gen for you and fellow baseball fans.

 

I had two baseball games on Sega Genesis. I never complete a entire season. Now Tecmo Super Bowl I played like a million seasons on the NES.

 

I sure would like for MS or 2K to release a new baseball game. Go Yankees !

 

@Dakrkplayer2 you really aren't that smart are you? PS4 has MLB the show and its a great baseball game. sadly i doubt microsoft will get rights to make one though

 

But sale record not in the millions. Most third party wants sale millions of copy of the game. Ant thouands of cpoy's. Only way it be money making in that sales number. If everything was done cheap to have proffits from the game. You need remember that third
party success numbers is in the million. Less then that. Third party will not care at all.

 

Thing is,Baseball is only popular in the U.S. & Japan & we all know how well the xbox sells in Japan.

Yeah I don't think we'll see many Baseball games coming out. It would be nice, but I think RBI may be the only thing we get.

 

I agree, I'd love a baseball game of the XB1. I enjoyed The Show on the PS3 a lot and put many hours into that game but I'm not sure it'll really sell the numbers the developers want. One of the main reasons is that there's no doubt the sony exclusive
The show 16 will be out on the PS4 eventually so most sony fans will choose the well established franchise over a new franchise. The Xbox is the underdog so the dev would be facing an up hill battle for sales numbers. I'm not saying it wouldn't work.

Here's hoping though.

 

Last time I played a baseball game the Brewers had Yount and Molitor on its roster in the game.

 

Baseball games? Eh I am hoping to see APBA, Strat-O-Matic, or something similar on Xbox One. I want a true baseball simulation game to make it to console for once.
