Can we get a cordless headset already!

I feel like I'm buying a new headset every two months. Xbox One is almost two years old! It's time Microsoft!

Can we get a wireless headset please?!

I have the Turtle Beach Elite 800 headset. It's pricey, but I absolutely love it. And, it's completely 100% wireless with Bluetooth connectivity so I can take a call, hear a message or stream music all while playing a game.

Hydro, Microsoft used to make a great wireless chat headset for the 360 they NEED to make one for the Xbox One. This was one of many steps backwards for the Xbox One. I have a couple of grand invested in speakers and my receiver I WANT TO USE THEM not
some over priced headphones. The chat headset that comes with the One is garbage which doesn't help. I just had to buy my fourth this week since launch and that's with almost a year of using crazy expensive Turtle Beach headphone that have cracked on both
sides.

I can guarantee you that this issue is frustrating enough to me that I won't even consider getting another Xbox unless there is a wireless chat headset at launch.

They spent all this cash on R&D but didn't anticipate people would hate Kinect. I wish they just put out a wireless headset that operates on the same frequency as the controllers, and let you use one of the 3 open controller slots for chat. Think how much
of a waste multiplayer is when you can't tell teammates they're in danger or the enemy is about to grab the flag, plant the bomb, etc. it's coming in on a year now and they have not addressed this yet. I assume my teammates will die and I'll slowly lose
interest in gaming. I don't want strangers hearing conversations emanating from a nearby room adjacent to my family room but hey, I think logically. I guess I prefer my family not to be assaulted with the vulgarity from kids when I play.

Hi there, are you still having this issue currently? Are there any sources of interference around your console, such as wireless gaming headsets or cordless telephones?

Hello SLICK - are there any new sources of wireless interference around your console? Perhaps a gaming headset, a cordless telephone, things of that nature. These can interfere with the wireless connectivity of the console and it's controllers. It's worth
checking those things out.

Do you have a cordless phone base station by the Netgear, or a wireless headset base station attached to the Xbox console? Both can cause iintermittant radio frequency interference, and if so, putting them on an longer cord to
move them away can help.

@ Taidara: The test results are the same that I took last time. They are located on the first post of page 2. I'll see what I can do about trying the wireless adapter at a friend's house the next time I get the chance.

@ Vibroplex: I've already tried the seven-step solution you've recommended to no effect. Also, there is no cordless phone base station within a foot of the Xbox. And the only thing plugged into my Xbox is the wireless adapter, so no wireless stereo headset
is plugged in.
