    Can we expect more xbox 360 and original games be backwards compatible in the future


    I was looking through my stash of xbox xbox 360 and original games and most of them like blur and burnout aren't playable on xbox one will we ever expect more or all of the non backwards compatible games to be playable on xbox one and series consoles soon

    The backwards compatibility program ended in 2021 so no more games will be added.

    Licensing or technical issues are the main reasons some games weren't made backwards compatible.

    Burnout Paradise did get a Xbox One remake although i don't class that as a proper Burnout game & i do wish blur was playable but unfortunately it isn't.

    As much as we all want more original and Xbox 360 games to be made compatible. It just isn't happening any more, as the Original & Xbox 360 backward compatible program has ended, and no more games are to be added to the backward compatibility catalogue.

    Not all Original Xbox games is able to be played on Xbox 360.

    Games needs to be added to the backward compatible library to be able to be played on the 360 or the One. Seeing as they have stopped bringing games to backward compatibility, team has been reassigned to work on Project Scarlett, we might see more games
    added in the future.
