Can two live accounts be online at the same time on one xbox 360 console?

Hi please excuse my ignorance.... Im not xbox savvy - much to my sons' frustration!!!!

I have one xbox 360 that both my young sons use together. However one could not participate in their friends games whilst online so I set up another

account with xbox gold live for him. My question is can they both log in online at the same time using the one console and then be able to play against their friends?

If this is possible please could you give me clear and concise instructions has to how to do this. (I have tried searching but have not found an answer as yet)

Yes, you can even be using the same account on one xb1, and one xbox 360 at the same time. Or one at a time (but not two 360's, or 2 xb1's at once)

So, I am pretty sure that you can be online on the 360 and the Xbox One at the same time. Let me look for a link. A, here, found it. It's about halfway down.

Now, you might have more of an issue with how your ports are forwarded on your network. With two Xboxs, you will likely want to have no ports forwarded and use UPnP. Otherwise, you will want to do port Triggering.

No. This is to prevent any type of "boosting" or "cheating". You cannot jump online with multiple profiles from the same console. You will need to purchase an additional xbox consoles.

To clarify things, you can have the account on two consoles but they cannot be signed in at the same time. If both were connected to Live at the same time, different gamertags would need to be logged in on each console. Now when the One launches, you will
be able to be signed into it and one 360 at the same time on the same account.

Hello, my brother and I play offline with one xbox360 console and 2 remotes in same game with 2-player mode. Our dad purchased one xbox 360 gold live account which we play by taking turns. Our dad wants to know if by buying a second xbox360 gold live account
we can both play at the same time using the same xbox360 console on two seperate xbox gold live accounts on two remotes in same game. Can someone please confirm if this is possible or do we have to buy a second xbox 360 console?
