Can tomb raider on xb1 get any better, cz its amazing.

[/quote]Fine, maybe it was closer to 3 or 4 hours. The point was that I beat it pretty quick and never picked it up again. Geez, can't even exaggerate around here. LOL

 

I gotta admit I agree with sunburst I completed ryse within 4-6 hours

Moving ahead 2 pages, I've heard allot of positive reviews from friends and went to buy this on disc yesterday, none of the 3 stores I went to had it. Maybe it sold out already? It is on disc right? I never played the PS3/360 version so I'm really interested
in this one.

 

Played it and beat it on the 360...Dont know if i will buy it again for the X1 being that i did not care for the multilayer...is it really that much better on the X1?

@sandstorm , obviously at TR fan like meself,it was one of the 5 last 360 games I played bf the new gt and xb1,now to have that gameplay backed with the xb1s power,yes it really is that good, yes its the exact same game much alike the ac4 situation.

But and its a big statement TRDE on xb1 is imo our 1st truely next gen game, its no lauch title,its a proper been in development for a long time game,planned to come out when it did,il be as bold to say any game that is coming now the developers best take
a leaf from sqaure enix and crystal D,they truely have set a standard.

For a console game to top current on a PC, thats AMAZING.

Im statring to see more of a bigger picture now on why all these delays are going on with other games,As for the MP on TR is loads more fun,not everyones cup o tea I know,I will always love 3rd person mp over 1st,so its defo my cup o tea.

 

I read yesterday that Tomb Raider is UK number one in the charts. Not bad for a last-gen port.

 

How many of you played the last gen version and then bought this version and think of it as a totally new experience?

B.c I have the regular version on PC, but I want to see it on the next gen consoles but I'm not sure if it's completely worth getting again once I play it on PC.

 

I have the last generation version on PC and the graphics honestly make it feel like playing a new game. The physics add a sense of realism that wasn't so evident in the PC version as well. Really the only person that can make the call is yourself. The gameplay
is pretty much the same.

Not defending anyone here. But did you not say last night the Xbox One version looked better? Then a few hours later you said they looked the same? The guy simply gave his experience. I have not played Tomb Raider on any console or PC yet so I won't know what
it is like. But going by reviews apparently (again I ant played it yet) that on XB1 in cut scenes the resolution changes to 900p. But tbh why should this matter? It is only a cut scene so it shouldn't change peoples views on the game. Now can we get back to
talking about Tomb Raider in general instead of FPS and resolution?

Anyhow to anyone who has played Uncharted games is it anything like that? I mean climbing walls the shooting ect?

Even though I think Tomb Raider has it's "own feel" about it, having played all the Uncharted titles I'd definitely say for anyone familiar with these games would find yourself right at home here if that makes sense lol

Please understand that I have no problem with people mentioning the PS4. I have no problem with people pointing out what console they are going to get a game for. What I have a problem with is strictly comparison. Comparing a game on one platform to another
for what ever reason, be it frames or graphics, it only causes problems. Now this is a gaming forum, it should be a haven where everyone can get together and have nice healthy discussions about what they love. Games. Now did I miss this weeks issue of 'the
trolling mail' or something? Because most of what I see lately are arguments over specs.



This is exactly why we don't allow comparison threads. There's far too much finger pointing and banner waving going around and the answer is simple, don't poke sly jabs at each other about what console is the best, and why. There is never going to be a resolve
to it because each unit and counter part please people in different ways. Now can we please drop the comparing. It really is getting boring now and the last thing I want to do is take action against users for something as silly and trivial as this.



Seeing as I have deleted a few comments, lets get this back on track and keep it there.

Anyway, I finished TR on 360 with 98%, when it first came out. I can't think of anyone that would have been more excited for this game and the XB1 release was a no-brainer, day1 purchase, for me. I haven't been disappointed. The upgrade to the engine has
made the game feel fresh and new, to me, despite having scoured so much of the original release in my hunt for collectibles.

I'm loving this just as much as when I first fired it up in my 360.

 

One thing I loving ATM is the voice commands in this game, something simple as "show map", "bow, handgun" ect.

very usefull and putting the kinect to good use, love it.
