Can there be a complete game that runs well?

I have owned an Xbox since the 360 and when the Xbox One came out I mistakenly bought it immedietly. Originally I really only played COD or shooters, but mostly I was playing COD Ghosts on the Xbox One. I had fun on it but eventually having only a select
few games to even choose from on the Xbox One made the entire experiene worse cause I almost felt like I was forced to play this game since it was basically the only FPS available on the One.

Now we have soooo many games of every genre but instead of finding games to play for months on end, I mostly have just been finding games to play for a couple hours until a game breaking bug causes me to lose progress or restart entirely. I actually can't
remember an Xbox One game that I have enjoyed more than one time for a few moments. I've gotten stuck on a tutorial mission before, and it wasn't even a one time thing, It happened 2 times in a row that the tutorial just bugged and I was left restarting the
game which I really wouldn't even mind, but oh wait, the tutorial doesn't have a save feature. This is an Xbox Game Preview game so maybe I shouldn't be getting mad at game breaking bugs except for the fact that if it is meant to have bugs, why would there
be no save feature? To top off this great experience, once I finally got to play the actual game after 3 attempts at a tutorial I had something get stuck to the point where I just couldn't pick it up and I had spent over an hour just getting
this thing to immedietly have it bugged. This is not the only time I've dealt with game breaking bugs either, just the most recent. I thought when the whole Game Preview thing came out and we got to experience games early that they would at least have some
safety nets for broken gameplay, but it honestly just seems like a scam to get broken or unfinished games out to the public.

I really don't get how gaming has taken such a bad turn, it's honestly as if the games don't matter anymore just as long as they make a profit, and I don't even just mean Game Preview games. Triple A titles are feeling more incomplete than ever with constant
updates and changes to core gameplay that don't just fix issues they released with the game, but actually change gameplay and "metas." It honestly just baffles me how every single game on the Xbox store has a 99% chance to just not work all the way through
or just end up completely reworked, from games with millions at their disposal to games that had only hundreds of dollars.

I have found this issue with some bigger games when they were first released but I have yet to experience any bugs with any smaller, indie titles.

I recently played through Wolfenstein 2 without running into any bugs or glitches.

if you like FPS and have game pass, I thoroughly recommend giving it a go (especially as it gives MS reward points for getting achievements

CD Project Red seem to do a good job of waiting until the game is finished and working before releasing it

While I understand your frustration and have experienced it to some degree, I think you're overstating things a bit.

You don't name these games you have all these issues with, you stick to blanket generalizations. The games I see this issue most in are multiplayer games.

I've played 100's of games this gen and only 1 had game breaking bugs. Kingdon Come Deliverance was the only real culprit.
