can the Xbox One X do support the feature Dynamic Super Resolution(DSR) for games 1080 in 4k?

    DSR - Factors=4.00x which enables

    DSR - Smoothness= 33%

    Dynamic Super Resolution

under Change Resolution from the nvidia control panel

which allows you to set your tv from your pc to 3840x2160 (4.00x)

just wondering if this would be an option on our Xbox One X system, so we who don't yet own a real 4k tv set , to get 4k like modes on our console systems for the 4k effects in the Xbox One X games? I have a LG 1080 Tv set its big tv size at 55, but I only
can do this type of 4k mode currently from windows 10 output to my tv set, it would be nice if I could turn on Dynamic Super Resolution (4.00x) mode from my xbox one x without requiring me to buy or upgrade my tv set to an 4k tv set. I think
a lot of users that don't own a 4k tv, or don't want to upgrade to an real 4k tv set would understand this , it would be 4k output at 60Hz I think that Dynamic Super Resolution (4.00x) mode works under that in nvidia tv output of this quality
images. I don't no if this is an feature that can be added to preview omega on the xbox one x system, I think a lot of users would love to test this idea out, since if the hardware and firmware can do this, it would also save them some money/ or test out the
4k games they may own that the Xbox One X has etc.. before going out and buying a real 4k tv set, most of the time you have to wait for the old tv sets to fail before your family will let to go buy new ones, stuff like that applies to this, or if your parents
only let you upgrade your xbox one to an xbox one x, but your parents say that they will not let you have a 4k tv set, and to live with what you have etc.. words from your parents another reason for this idea. because saving some money of course for more
video games instead of just an new tv set for Christmas which Ya I know is months away still.

I traded in my old console its value for the new one priced at $499 from gamestop, but my TV set is only an LG 1080 55 size tv and cannot do the 4k mode at this point that only works with nvidia and its tv out port with DSR Factors set to 4.00x from windows
10 its called Dynamic Super Resolution(DSR) which may not be an true 4k native res and only works on desktop's with nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 Ti card based hardware I think, that's the only 4k mode that can runs on my tv set, since its not an true 4k tv set,
and my parents only let me get an new xbox one x system for my birthday coming up in less than 2 weeks, they will not let me upgrade my tv set yet to an 4k one. I don't think the Xbox One X can enable Dynamic Super Resolution(DSR) yet,
but maybe its an feature that can be added to the console in their next preview omega firmware but I am not sure if this would work on the console with 1080 tv sets or not.

    :)

    Resolution problem on my monitor

    Hi!

A few days ago i bought the LED Full-HD monitor Iiyama ProLite E2473HDS.

Now when i want to change the resolution at HDTV Settings on my XBOX 360, i can't choose 1920 x 1080. However, my monitor supports it.

    I use my XBOX 360 with a HDMI-cable.

Someone can tell me why i can't choose 1920 x 1080? Because that's the optimal resolution!

    Thanks!

If this was possible to do, you could probably slowly save up for a 4k tv before this was implemented.

  7. Hi,

You'll be pleased to learn that the Xbox One X already does this as standard.

On PC's, Nvidia's DSR or Dynamic Super Sampling, is just its own form of Super sampled Antialiasing.

The Xbox One X can also do 'Super sampling', and you don't need to change any settings, it will do it automatically on any game that has been 'Enhanced' for Xbox One X.

    What is Supersampling?

If there’s one thing I’d love for you to take away from all this information is this: a 4K screen is not required to play great games on Xbox One X. Your games will still look and run much better on Xbox One X than any other console on the market regardless
of your television and that’s thanks to supersampling. Supersampling also helps to reduce “jaggies” around the edges of objects and other staircasing-like effects

Think of supersampling as the cousin of upscaling. Instead of taking a lower resolution image and blowing up (creating a distortion) like upscaling’s effect, supersampling takes a high-resolution image and scales it down to your television’s native resolution
    — be it 720p or 1080p — to bring all the information that Xbox One X is pouring into its games and beaming to the screen.

But supersampling is more than just resolution as any Xbox One X Enhanced title running on at 1080p television is still taking advantage of the power of the system. That makes your draw distance better, greater special effects, and everything else that’s
running under the hood of the world’s most powerful console.

So get yourself an Xbox One X if that's what you want. You can get a 4K TV later.

  9. I was not referring to the Supersampling effect, more like the option to turn on 3840x2160 on outputs the only support up to 1920 x1080, that's what the pc nvidia 3D card can do with DSR - Factors=4.00x,
that's not an option for Current firmware on the Xbox One X, as far as I know.

I was kind of talk about more that by turning on DSR - Factors=4.00x from nvidia control panel, you can output the both my monitor and tv set that only support up to 1080p to the Resolution of 3840x2160 (4.00x) at
60Hz and whatever you have the color depth set too, my point was that with DSR- Factors turn off you can't get 3840x2160 output mode from the pc to the tv screen, I was not really talking about Antialiasing but the fact that Dynamic Super Resolution allows
both the tv set and monitors to be set to 3840x2160 above the normal limit of 1920 x 1080 (native), you can't do this on the Xbox One X as far as I know its limited to the tv output of just 1920 x 1080, that's the feature I was referring too here, I hope that
better explains the topic I was on.

  10. I just traded in my old Original Xbox One at gamestop, for the new price $499 console the Xbox One X, I don't see myself getting the Xbox Scarlet anytime in the near future, which I have not even heard about until today, I didn't no they were
even trying to making a better Xbox one yet, thanks for telling me that....

Again my topic was not on the subject of Supersampling, DSR Factors has to do with Resolutions on NVidia cards outputs to the displays devices not Supersampling I
    think.
