    Day one update - Add the blueray option

    Xbox One comes with Kinect it can be used as a mic. If you don't want to use Kinect as a mic then buy a headset. I have no problem using Kinect as a mic.

    Hello Icorona,

    It was stated that no Xbox 360 Kinect games would be backwards compatibility due to incompatibilities with the Kinect peripherals, which leads me to believe you would be unable to use the Xbox One Kinect for Xbox 360 game chat, but unfortunately I do not
    know for sure.

    If you want to try this, in Kinect's settings make sure that "use Kinect for chat" is enabled and then load up the Xbox 360 game in question. If it works, it works; but if not, as I suspect, then it's likely just something that is not supported.

    Sorry for the lack of a definitive answer, but I hope this helps.

    This is true even with Xbox 360's Kinect. Kinect picks up too much background noise, Mics are better otherwise you just get muted. You got the game sound (who listens to game sounds at low volumes?) through your HDTV's speakers or home theatre system, and
    chat, woe if its with 8 people chatting at once, and noise in your house. When I joined Xbox 360, my slim console came with a mic. The reason why is they *want* you to use the Kinect. They will have it as an Xbox One Accessory which will cost a bit extra to
    get. Or you can get mics from Turtle Beach or whichever brand you prefer who will be making mics for Xbox One.

    Lack of voice chat options needs a fix soon

    This is why more people are on Xbox 360 still. Xbox 1 is fairly new almost 5 months since it released. I usually don't bother with the headset which came with my Xbox 1 and just use the Kinect for voice chat. It picks up my voice fine in games like Forza
    5. I know with my friends on Xbox 360, it sounds like they're talking in an auditorium when they use their Kinect to talk. They sound WAAAAYYYYY better when using the mic, and since your mic and Kinect can pick up noise from your TV speakers (Kinect even more
    so especially with 360's Kinect). There are headsets where you can chat and listen to game audio via the headset like turtle beach that way you can just mute your TV speakers. I blame the tooo "Windows 8" OS they included on an "Xbox" console.
