Can the smart pistol be used in full auto, if not there is cheating

Guys no need for contention I'm sure none of us here are using mods on their controllers but it does appear they are out there even though they are more then likely against the Xbox Live Terms of Service.

I don't know anymore either I graduated back in 07. Only really use the Chem theory that can be useful for industry these days.

Agree w/ "Chemist" that prolly no one in this group uses one. I also agree w/ "Jugg" that it just kills the satisfaction component , ...I mean really, what's the point?! But there will always be that "look at me" person who needs to fill that deficiency,

ya that's why in gears 3 they had at least 50% modded hammerburst. never saw anyone get banned for that

just wait till the xbox one gears comes out. it will be bad unless they totally get rid of the hammerburst

The smart pistol was broken in the last patch, which may explain why the OP is seeing what he's seeing - partially anyway. The pistol loses lock when you sprint or wall run, as well as losing lock at random moments, so I've found the best way to use it against
pilots is to just use it like a normal pistol, aiming down the sights and then firing as fast as I can with the right trigger. Respawn have acknowledged the issue and are working on a fix, but if you're seeing players quickly firing it like a normal gun instead
of using the "smart" capability, that's probably why. Whether people are cheating with modded controllers or not, I couldn't say.
