Can`t sync cloud data

I thinks it's a combination of modern broadband and Xbox live. One thing I did check was that even though I have an open NAT, the settings I used were incorrect. It could actually be that a different port needs to be open as I have seen that there are other
port numbers that can help. For eg. There is a specific port to open for people who want to play call of duty ghosts. I tested the new settings yesterday and it seemed to work better when syncing batman. I tried 5 times, where I deleted save game data and
tried to re sync. I am in the UK and use Sky home fibre broadband, but I think the router settings may be similar. Here's the info you guys need as the other infor was missing some vital details:-

Fixing Moderate/Closed NAT Forever

For as an example I will be using an IP Address of 192.168.0.99

These settings are for Sky Broadband Users With Moderate & Closed NAT Type's. The settings that I use personally have not failed to amaze me tbh, I have tested these settings on 3 other Sky routers and the results are always positive okay lets begin... P.S.
The settings will also work on other routers as well as the settings are more or less the same, remember always make a backup of your current configuration before doing this.

Default Username & Password = U: admin P: sky

Sky Router Settings ALL MODELS

Setup (Wireless Setup)

Channel = Your best channel available, download InSSider to find it get your channel furthest away from others as possible.

Mode = I use 54g Performance just to squeeze every last bit of bandwidth out of the router as possible if others are in your household using the internet if not 54g Auto will still work.

Security (Logs)

If your someone that doesn't care about reading logs etc, then disable everything to include in the logs, its one less thing the router doesn't have to do every time you connect to your router or turn it on.

Security (Firewall Rules) You need a static IP Address for this to always work.

Add the following services.

Outbound Services:

Click add and add the following services I will be adding later on in this topic

Port 88 (UDP)

Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

Port 80 (TCP)

After clicking add you will see this:

Service Any(ALL)

Action BLOCK always

LAN Users Any

Start: 0.0.0.0

Finish: 0.0.0.0

WAN Users Any

Start: 0.0.0.0

Finish: 0.0.0.0

Log Never

This is what it should look like for EACH corresponding service to add:

Service Xbox(TCP:88)

Action ALLOW always

LAN Users Single Address

Start: 192.168.0.99

Finish: 0.0.0.0 - Will be blanked out nothing goes here

WAN Users Any

Start: 0.0.0.0

Finish: 0.0.0.0

Log Never

It is EXACTLY the same for Inbound Services as well

Security (Services)

Click add Custom Service

You will see this:

Service Definition

Name:

Type: TCP

Start Port:

Finish Port:

For each service that gets added you must provide a name for each, so port 3074 UDP and TCP for example can be called Xbox, and the rest Xbox1,Xbox2,Xbox3

What it should look like:

Service Definition

Name: Xbox

Type: TCP/UPD

Start Port: 3074

Finish Port: 3074

Click apply and finish the rest off.

Advanced (WAN Setup)

UN CHECK (Respond to Ping on Internet WAN Port) it is pointless and unneeded

CHECK (Default DMZ Server) only if you are uncomfortable to open and forward your ports, i find that putting 192.168.0.99 in a DMZ doesn't always have an Open NAT

MTU Size (In Bytes): 1500

Advanced (LAN IP Setup)

Address Reservation (Static IP)

Click Add

An Address Reservation Table will appear select your current Xbox IP Address, you can find it by just going to your System Settings, Network Settings, your router and click configure network and in there you will see the current IP address you are using
after selecting your current IP, you can change your IP Address to a static IP Address that you used for your Services mine was 192.168.0.99. Don't change the MAC Address or it wont stay static, you can change the Device Name.

Click Add when finished.

Advanced (UPNP)

TURN UPNP OFF as it interferes with port forwarding .

 

Although after my 5th attempt of trying it did start to show the same error message after about 50% sync with batman. I left it a while and tried again and all worked fine.

Don't forget as a last resort of you change your router channel to 802.11b this will definitely work. It's not what I would call ideal, but is a fix for now.

 

This has happened to me now for days. Maybe Xbox should think about fixing this before it happens to more users. I tried literally everything by the way. Only games that actually sync are games that I would assume don't use a large amount of data in the
cloud.

 

I have this issue with all my games either they get to 99% and stop or in halo master chief collection it gets to 50% then fails also halo takes the longest to sync just over 20mins to sync 50% some games are instant others takes 2 or 3 mins.

I too am with SKY and use a wired conection with nat open.

How do I go about changing my router channel to 802.11b I know how to accses my router

 

ive just upgraded to the xbox1 from 360,,since i have had the xb1i have not been able to play it i had a D/L/C issues everywhere , so i deleted AW and my GT from the xb1,redownloaded it all reset cache i and now it wont sync!!!

problems with armory glicthes,, cant sync ect...

i have been playing AW xbox360 since day zero

then they said if u have an xbox one u get AW free with upgrading to the xbox one yeah..

so a good friend of mine, bought an xbox one for himself he is a HALO player...

he bought it around to my place so we could check it out....

that's when he installed all his D/L/C to his new xbox1

we played halo and mucked around for a bit then I said if I put my GT on your xbox one,I should be able to play AW xbox one!!!!.new guns!!!!!

so I downloaded and installed AW on friends xbox one under my GT it was all good

,then about 6 weeks later i bought the xbox1 D/L my GT and AW with all my D/L/C 75 gig

and since then ive not been able to OPEN any supply drops on the xbox one

its saying that amory is full but I have many slots/cards available....

I have contacted activision on this matter and xbox support for the last 6 weeks with no result,,

but only after reading a post on an xbox forum it says basically...

that if u install your game

under your GT in an xbox that is not YOUR main console

then u buy your own xbox one install the same game that you installed on( freinds xbox1 in my case)

your new xbox one is like the 2nd console it don't recognize its your home/main console,,hereis the xbox link if it helps....

now I cant sync my profile

I got glitches thru my armory,,i cant open any supply drops (my AW 360 account works fine)

so if any one can make any sense outta this,its reconizing that I have installed AW somewhere else I think

I have had my friend delete ALL of AW and my GT from his XBOX ONE storge and reset his cache.

one strange thing is I never seen any compabilaty packs or updates when I first logged into my AW multiplayer for the first time

maybe its included with the AW d/l?

so I hope this info can get to the right people and see if this is the cause of my armory and syncing dramas

upgrading from the xbox 360 to the xbox ONE has messed up something in my GT or somthing

how can I make my xbox 1 the main console again???

ive made it my home..

im not sure what to do next I can play online AW but I cant get any new guns due to armory full,,even tho I have 9 whole cards left with many slots available...

Sorry to bump but I now have this problem. Anyone here able to tell me how they fixed it?

 

I can't some games will sync others won't.

Microsoft can fix this problem easy stop focing us to sync data to the useless cloud and let us save our game saves to usb or hard drive like we can do on the xbox 360 a console that is much better then the useless xbox one
