can"t sign in win 8.1 pc

You have to go into Xbox.com and either make an avatar for yourself or make a change to your existing avatar. Then you can sign in. Doesn't make sense but it works. Look on startup page of Wordament and follow links to Wordament on Facebook and Twitter for

Am having the same issue. Spent ages with windows phone help people last night checking there were no issues with my microsoft account. In the end they suggested I contact the game developer. The problem seems to be limited to wordament on Windows phones.

I can also play in guest mode but if I try and sign in it loads for an insrant saying "welcome back <username>" and then crashes out. Any thoughts on how to overcome this?

Having the same problem. Has been going on for over 24 hours now. And there are a plenty of us with the same problem. Where is the solution?

I have the same problem to sign the Aaphalt 8 on Lumia 920 Win 8.1 phone, just as a guess not my xbox account.

I've been having the same problem. I recently purchased a Lumia 520 and created a brand new Microsoft account using my gmail address. Unfortunately, my Games app cannot connect to xbox live ever since I bought the phone. I got the error "There was an error
saving the Avatar. Please try again later" when I followed this fix. Will try to edit my avatar at a later to see if this work. Bwt, this is a very silly error and Microsoft please fix this ASAP.

And I'm also looking for other ways to fix this. Thank you for your help.
