I'm having so much trouble trying to Downlaod minecraft maps onto xbox. I tried to download on my computer first and it's causing problems with my computer. Help

Redeemed game not showing up on xbox live

I purchased Minecraft from Amazon. I followed their instructions to redeem the code through my computer. I can see the game on my xbox live account on my computer. When I sign in to xbox live through my console, the game is not in my download list or
in "my games". Any Ideas?

The game of Minecraft is not play anywhere, the Xbox version only works on the Xbox and there is a separate purchase for the Computer.

Hi,

Minecraft has a Bedrock Edition. On Game Pass, Minecraft game is not included. You need to buy it. Since Bedrock is cross-platform, I was hoping that my kids can download it on their computers as well. So if the edition that Game Pass sells is not the Bedrock Edition, then it makes sense that I am only allowed to play within XBOX. Can you please confirm that if I buy it on Game Pass I won't be able to download and play on both computer and XBOX console?

Welcome to the Xbox Community Forum. Thank you for sharing your concern with us today and we hope that all is well. We understand that you are experiencing the error code 0x803f8001 when trying to download Minecraft. Let us look into this together to get you back to gaming.

First, please make sure that your computer is completely updated - including all optional updates. When you have done that, restart your computer and see if you still experience this error.

If the issue persists, please make sure that you are signed into the correct account that purchased Minecraft in the Microsoft Store app on your computer as well as in the Xbox App on your computer.

Next, please download the Minecraft Launcher from the Microsoft Store on your computer. When it is downloaded, launch the Minecraft Launcher and make sure that you are signed into your correct account. From here, you should be able to download any version of Minecraft that you have entitlements for.

If the issue continues after following these steps, we recommend that you contact Mojang Support directly as they can provide you with 1:1 support that we in the Forums cannot.
