Ahh I see! That's not a bad deal at all in my opinion. Something people would benefit from and I could see it going that way due to the lack of games they need for the way it works on the 360. Either way, I plan to stay gold for as long as I have an account
so what ever happens, it's better than nothing. Then again I am just too easy to please lol.



Not sure they will make it free to play online. I agree it would be nice but calculating how much they make when you estimate all their subs it wouldn't be logical. Free access to apps you have to pay for (Netflix ect...) I can see that happening.



Time will tell I guess.

 

I don't think it would be Gears or Halo, Microsoft have already talked about them so it wouldn't really be a "big surprise" ..

Again though, there might be no "big" surprise at all, if there is my bet is they have purchased/got the rights to a big developer/game.

Maybe they have purchased Nintendo, a lot want it to happen lol ;-)

 

If they ever did, I would bounce up and down at the thought of Mario / Zelda coming to Xbox! Why Nintendo don't cross release those I don't know. There's a lot of money to be had there.

 

My guess about Nintendo is based on the failure of the Wi U, the Wi shifted in great numbers because loads of non gamers bought it, problem was they did not shift a lot of games for it and even less for the Wi u, yes people bought Mario and Zelda but third
party games are rare on the systems. I think they will eventually quit under the tv hardware and just stick to hand held consoles and make console games for other people, whether or not that is just for Microsoft we will have to wait and see.

Despite the Wii U not selling that great, I still think that Nintendo make some of the greatest games ( for all out fun ) out there.

I agree with what Gary said, eventually I can see them just sticking to their handhelds, games and making games for other people, again, hopefully Xbox One

 

If Ninty made Zelda and Mario for other consoles nobody would have a reason to buy a wii u.

 

If any Nintendo games start appearing I'm buying a PS4 .

@Boas. nobody bought one anyway, that is the point I was making. Anyhow it's just a guess from me but they cant go on making consoles that fail.

 

Nintendo have had one misstep with the Wii U. I think people are a little hasty to suddenly write them off to the extent that they are.

 

Likely correct there vote. Though if they fail on the next console they make, it would really impact their future right? If so, I would imagine it would go as described above. Even then, there was problems with the handheld due to its cost right?

Nintendo are a solid company and have contributed to a fair portion of my childhood. I can't afford a WiiU so I miss out on great games like their IP's. I wouldn't growl if they came to cross platforms.

Would it hurt their sales if they made a few exclusive Zelda titles 'as well' as some cross platform titles? Maybe I'm dreaming next to Lofty but it would be pretty nice if that happened. I would be interested to see how much profit they made using that
concept at least.

 

Games for Gold on Xbone is my vote, I highly doubt Microsoft would give something back to the gamers by making LIVE free!
