Can someone please help with technical problem in Destiny?

Sorry to be a pain, but I have been having problems with Destiny recently on my Xbox One. Ever since the latest update was first released I have been unable to play the game. The downloading content screen will appear and will fail several different ways.
Most of the time, it will get to 25%, freeze for a few seconds and then the Wasp error appears. Other times it will reach 50%, freeze and then the same error code. Sometimes it will just stay at 0% for a few minutes and then again, the same error code appears.
I have been trying tens of times a day since the release of this update and still no luck. Also, the size of the update constantly changes from 1.21MB to over 800MB and, most commonly, 76.78MB. I'm getting very frustrated now because this isn't the first update
that has done this to my game. I have looked up the Wasp error on Bungie.net and it recommends power-cycling modem/router. I have done that several times and still no luck. The other recommendations are to hold the Xbox power icon for 5 seconds then power
up again, which also hasn't worked, or to use an ethernet connection to establish a wired connection, which isn't possible in my circumstances. My Xbox is upstairs and the modem and router are both downstairs with the main landline. I am at my wits end trying
to get this game working and I seem to be the only person experiencing this. Any advice would be highly appreciated. Thank you very much and sorry for rambling.

the first console errors

I get on the TV screen, technical problem, see technical support and name reads the additional disks I get a number 07 on the top left of the tv... please someone help me

 

Blocked Achievements

Greetings , I was sent here for technical support for problem I have with my profile, I have blocked my achievements , I can not unlock new achievements. Please help me.

 

Is it possible to take your xbox downstairs so its closer to the router?

 

Buy some homeplugs, or take your xbox one to the router to use wired while you get the update or see if it solves the issues.

 

My parents don't trust me messing about with the router, so I doubt I would be allowed. Thank you to both of you for replying though, highly appreciated
