Can someone help please?

On Monday I had an issue with my xbox were it restarted and now it just continually gives me a black screen when turned on! Altho I can use smart glass to load up Netflix and certain games. It won't allow me to access settings, friends list and numerous
other things. What has happened to my dashboard and is there a way to fix it? I have tried hard reset

It worked for me try this. Remove catche install to xbox re-install cahce see if it works.

Apparently it is an update that causes the whole system to crash. HEY XBOX GET ON THIS PLEASE!

Sounds like you need to call support for a repair.

If you haven't already please try a hard reset by holding the power button on the front of the console for 8-10 sec until it shuts down then unplug the console for 30 sec to 1 min then plug back in and power back on. Hopefully this will resolve the problem
that you are experiencing.

is it an official hard drive or a cheap copy.

considering the fact that you got it in what is basically a pawn shop,you can`t honestly have expected a top quality item can you?

you will not have a virus on your console.

if the problems have only started once you started using a second hand hard drive from cash converters,then it is obviously a problem with that hard drive.
