Can someone help me remove people that are stuck on my friends/followers list?

Block the accounts that you want to remove from your friends list. Although this method is not always 100% effective, it can sometimes help to remove the unwanted followers.

Unfollow the ghost account that is causing the issue. This may help to reset your friends list and remove the unwanted followers.

Check your privacy settings to ensure that your friends list is set to "Friends Only" or "Private." This can prevent unwanted followers from being added to your friends list.

unfortunately many times players find exits that they don't know about, but unfortunately if they can't help it's a resource that only Microsoft developers can solve, and in case of the invisible friend on your list, the problem is probably in the account, they at least least have the system to analyze something, we only have this channel to help you.

Sorry if I came off as rude to you, it's nothing against you I appreciate your reply and trying to help. I have contacted support dozens of times over the past 2 years and they don't do anything they just repeat the same thing from the their little support troubleshooting steps articles. The actual support always refers me to the forums for some reason acting like someone higher up who works for the support team will reply and actually do something to fix the issue they never do. They just repeat the same script I don't know it's called support they literally don't have the tools to fix anything. I can't remember the last time support has actually helped fix something. Every issue the solution is the same and none of the steps work, but yeah I guess there's no help from "support" on the forum either. Thanks again.

I understand that you are dissatisfied, I also know what the option is about, since the removal options do not work, I believed that the inconvenient thing is to see the friend in the list and for him to see you, and not here would not be the support, only in the players of the community that we try to help when it is possible, to speak with the support you must go to the status page of the live and look for the option chat online if that is your desire.

It's a ghost account I can't unfollow it, because I can't see it. I currently only have 7 friends right now, but the number of friends the servers are saying I have is 8. I always have 1 more friend and follower than I actually do. I can tell it's a ghost account, because when I look at the history of my notifications it says unknown has followed me, but when I select the notification to load the profile it won't load and it gives me an error. Also just to let you know setting your friends list to friends only or private doesn't actually stop players from being able to follow you that setting is for only visibility purposes and only determines who can see your friends list. There is no support on here and it seems like noone knows what they're talking about it's actually a joke.
