    When trying to run games that use a private server like REPO, Risk of Rain, or Lethal Company, my game disconnects and give me the same ClientTimeout message, I've tried reinstalling steam client, updating drivers, updating windows, running things as administrator and I've had no luck, I've also contacted steam support and they didn't have an answer, is this something that is wrong with my computer in general, and if so can someone point in the direction to go.

    Hi there. My name is Ron, I'm an independent advisor. I will be more than happy to help you.

    Please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:



    Solution 1: Do a power cycle to clear the cache of the console



    1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

    2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

    Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    3. Plug the console power cable back in.

    4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.



    Solution 2: Do a factory reset



    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    2. Select System > Settings > System > Console info.

    3. Select Reset console.

    4. Reset and keep my games & apps.

    I'm having the same issue with Windows 8.1. It actually worked for a short time when I first got my console a few months ago. I've contacted support several times with no help. All they told me was to check connections Network test computer test reinstall
    console updates. My computer and console are connecting fine. The problem is with Smartglass. Hopefully they'll figure that out and fix it. We're not the only ones with this problem.

    Minecraft fails to launch after migration and update

    I assumed that once I created an account and logged into it, my computer would be on the same page. Unfortunately, the Microsoft store my computer was logged into was a guest one. Once I figured this out and figured it out how to log in with the account I created, I was able to fix the problem. Thanks for the help Sun Khou!

    I re-downloaded my profile and this allowed me to complete the download. So this issue is now resolved. Hopefully someone can help with my other questions I've posted or I can figure it out soon.
