    Can someone hack your account by giving them a Microsoft refund request denied code?


    I wanted to get a refund on a game that was denied for some reason (I still don’t know why) and I called support from the official page. I then later get put in through to someone who sounds a little Indian (I’m not racist) and give them a refund request code, I didn’t know what to expect but I then hung up, they called me back and they also show up on my phone as MICROSOFT. It was like a different number which was +1 425 635 2970. I don’t know if they can hack my account or not so I’m just playing it safe.

    With what you're telling us here, I would suggest you contact your bank, and file a police report for the theft and credit card fraud.

    Also, if you got an email denying your refund requests you should be able to reply to it and request a review on the refund requests.

    If you already put the codes into the account then I do not believe the retail store will give you a refund.

    No. Microsoft would not be able to refund them since they weren't purchased from them. So once they are added to the account they cannot be removed.

    You can TRY and request a refund using the refund form as described here just keep in mind though that consumable items such as vbucks are not eligible for refunds (because microsoft has no way to take those vbucks back from your account and epic games wont
    give Microsoft their money back for it) so dont be suprised if the refund request gets denied

    Why when i have been bought a game that was gifted by a friend an it was message with a code for the game from Xbox but the code does not work

    You're welcome. Your friend should be able to request a refund for it or he can give the code to someone else if needed.
