    Can someone explain why Xbox Series X warranty issues can't be handled via chat and/or phone?


    For some unholy reason, I was redirected to the forums when I selected the "Warranty, Service & Repair" option in the dropdown menu for my Xbox Series X. I was given a popup that says "Phone calls and chats aren't available for this issue." So if someone has a faulty XBox Series X, their choices are to "Message an Xbox Gamer" or "Post to a forum?" That's garbage.

    On the contact site, change your category/topic until it gives you the options to request a call back or chat with support. They'll still discuss it with you. Billing & Subscriptions and "I don't recognize a charge" usually works for me.

    Here in the forums we can't handle hardware replacement issues, unfortunately.
