Can Snap be disabled?

    Can Snap be disabled?


    Any way i can permanently disable snap? Cos it seriously is starting to get on my nerves.

    Snapping Apps

    Why can't we snap apps anymore? It was nice when you were able to snap any apps together. Then you ruined it by limiting which apps can be snapped with certain games and apps running. Now you made it worse taking away snap all together. Snap was unique
    to xbox one now it's just a generic console. Please bring back the Snap feature like it was in 2013.

    Snap can not be disabled at all. The best thing to do is just not use it.

    Snap can not be disabled at all. The best thing to do is just not use it.

    Can you fully disable the snap feature?

    You can't disable the snap app.

    When you press the Xbox button what are you expecting? For it to go to Dashboard?

    What app is it snapping for you? Is it the Achievements app?

    Try the following:

    Load any full screen game

    Press the Xbox Button, if it snaps an app, highlight the snapped application

    Press the MENU button (3 lines where START used to be on Xbox 360)

    Select Go Full Screen

    When the application goes full screen

    Press the Xbox Button

    It should take you back to the Dashboard, then just load your game of choice and now apps shouldn't snap unless you tell them to.

    Xbox One - Now with less Kinect

    Anyone know if you can still use the Kinect to switch/snap apps while in a game that has disabled the Kinect? I'm assuming disabled means just that - disabled.

    Microsoft seems to have assumed EVERYONE hates the Kinect now, leaving those of who had hopes for it in alot of confusion over what this means to us.

    Snap update

    I don't think you can disable snap. What you can do is go to your dashboard, hover over the game DVR and press start. It should give you the option to go full screen.
