Can Skyrim game code from Xbox bundle be used on a different Xbox machine?

I just bought a 4th Xbox for the house via Craigslist the other day. It was a holiday bundle from late 2012. In the box, there is a card for a free download of the game Skyrim. The gray scratch coating is still in-tact and I'm assuming that it will allow
me to download the game for free with that code.

My question is: do I have to download it onto this bundled Xbox unit? Or can I download it onto a different Xbox in my house instead? I am assuming it's just like any other online Xbox purchase where it's for any user on whatever the initial box is that
it is downloaded upon and then can be downloaded and played on any other box as long as it's logged into that user's Xbox Live acct.

Problem with language of downloaded game

Hi, I download the game Skyrim with a redeem code that i found in the bundle of my xbox. The game is in German and i don't know how to change the language of the game. I bought the bundle in italy and my console is set on Italy and italian language. The
other games run in italian but not Skyrim. Can you help me? Thanks

16 character game code

I bought my xbox one console bundle which includes a game redeem code of 16 characters authentically bought from Argos.

I tried to enter my code into the use code section but it suggests I use a 25 character game code, why am i buying a bundle with a game that cant be used?

Any tips?

Actually, it doesn't depend on the system unit you're downloading it to. It is attached to your Gamertag. Like for example, if you redeem it on this account, this account will have the license for this game, not the console.

Thanks. For another game that I paid for (NHL 14), I and my kids are able to play it when they log into their Live accounts on the primary Xbox. But on the other Xbox machines in the house, I have to log in first for them to play using their accounts.

You could try to see if you can find a digital code from a different retailer for the just the game, but if the game is only available as part of a bundle in the Xbox store, that's how it would have to be purchased.

Hey mbal70. As was already mentioned, Xbox does not sell their bundles with pre installed games. All bundles would come with a code that you can link the game to your account with. If you purchased a bundle from a store with a pre installed game that
means the store has sold you a previously owned console. Someone else will have used that code on their account and left the game on the console when they returned it.
