Can record any game.

Hello, I've got my console less than a month ago, Xbox One S, and have since then updated it every time that it has asked me to do so. However, my console will not record/game capture any game, even ones that allow the feature to work. I've gone into settings
to make sure that the setting is checked on, I've checked for updates, and I've also hard-reset the console, with no prevail. There is no option to record or screenshot after I hit the Home button twice,(The side menu pops up, shows all the options, friends
list, etc. Just not the "Hit X/Y to record/screen" options.) which is why I'm posting here.

Xbox One DVR will not record

Guys,

My xbox one dvr will not work, i can not record via any method, when i go to xbox game dvr and start clip i get an error saying the xbox one can not record that, any suggestions, to re cap, i can record ANY footage or anything with xbox one dvr, thanks.

 

"Can't record right now. Try again later"

I am attempting to record Minecraft 1.8.9, except Windows Game DVR says it can't record. I can record on other games and applications, just not Minecraft. Screenshot Even when I play the game on a server
or single-player world, it doesn't work.

Any help is appreciatted!

Sorry to hear about any frustration this may have caused. Let's have you check out the troubleshooting article for

problems recording with game DVR and go through the steps listed.

Let us know how if any of that helps! Hopefully you're able to record some footage now.

 

I've had the same problem as Exiled Thief, but it has been going on since the update that made it so you only had to tap "Home" once to get the side-screen. I've also tried all the troubleshoots on the link mentioned on Miss Ghidorah's comment, with no change.
