    Can play online 360 games


    I have an Xbox one and it is not letting me play 360 games online only offline. I have searched the forums and it is still not working. Xbox one games are working online just fine but not the 360 games? It keeps saying it can sign in but I am signed in
    and can switch games and play fine. After I get the can't sign in error and little thing on the bottom of the screen says signed in but when I try to play it says not signed in!

    Can Xbox One play games online with the 360? (If it's the same game such as GTA V)? And if you are playing a 360 game on the one with backwards compatibility, would you play online with 360 player One, or both?

    Hey Dalton,

    Give these steps a shot and let us know how it goes:

    • Navigate to 'All settings' from the Xbox One guide.
    • Within the settings screen, scroll down to 'System' and select 'Storage' within the system settings options.
    • From here, follow the steps to 'Clear local Xbox 360 storage'. Your Xbox One console should reset after this option is selecting.

    Keep us posted on how it goes!

    okay so it only worked until I turned it off then turned it on again. Now it is doing to the same thing it is say my iCloud is offline too but only for the 360 games.

    Thanks for posting back. This time, let's try a
    Factory Restore on your Xbox One console    , selecting 'Keep my games & apps'. That way you won't have to reinstall your games after restoring.

    Let us know how that goes! Can play online 360 games :)

    Why can’t I connect to multiplayer on Xbox 360 games on my series x.

    Ive been online but I put go offline and then go online but that didn’t seem to work. Ima try to explain to you as best as possible. Ok so, I can play current gen and next gen games online but when I try to play Xbox 360 games online it won’t connect me.for example if I want to play an Xbox 360 game with my friends online it won’t connect me it will just say connecting for a while then it will say couldn’t connect. So then we will have to play another game that is not an Xbox 360 game.
