Can others play with my downloaded or paid content?

I have a really simple question.

If I sell my Xbox 360 to someone (without my profile, obviously), can they play with my downloaded (paid) games or even with the 2 monthly free games? If not, what kind of message do they receive when they try to launch the games?

magic 2014 multiplayer error

any one know if they are working on this or how to fix i have downloaded deleted and downloaded some more the game and expantion pack three times no change go to multiplayer and says cant play with others or others cant play with me anyone know

 

XBOX Music Pass cannot play songs downloaded because I do not have the rights to play content.

Hi, many thanks for your reply. On both my Windows 8 PC and Windows Phone 8 mobile phone, I'm unable to play the songs downloaded during the trial period (which used to play ok before) or the ones downloaded during the paid subscription (I _can_ download
songs, but they won't play after being downloaded). The problem begun the day the paid subscription started. I have deleted all downloaded music from both the phone and PC, downloaded the music again, and the problem persists: "cannot verify media usage rights",
or "media usage rights corrupted" (or the same in Finnish language). The same happens both with songs I've downloaded before and ones never downloaded before, there's no difference. I can however listen to music by streaming, but not downloaded, and that's
really no good..

 

No, they would need to download your profile in order to play your content. Make sure you format your drive if your thinking about getting rid of your console.

 

Also, please be aware that if you sell your console with the content already on it and/or your gamertag to go with it is considered Marketplace Theft and could result in the banning of your gamertag and/or console from the Live service altogether.
