    It would seem that the new Xbox one s can't accept a 4K signal via the HDMI in from things like 4K enabled satallite boxes, this seems to be a issue not just in the uk but whem me and others have questioned this with Xbox support they say it should be able
    to and that both HDMI ports on the Xbox one s are 2.0a compliant, i for one am reluctant to open my Xbox one s as I may well be sending it back if i cant use it with my sky q 4k.

    Unfortunately, no. The HDMI passthrough on the Xbox One S does not support 4K.

    Xbox One S 4K Output/Input

    4k passthrough is definitely not working. I've tried 3 different devices that output 4k and none get through the Xbox One S. Totally bummed here...

    Ive read that people have had results from using a better HDMI cable (think it was 2.0a compliant, but not sure) and that the one supplied in the box wasn't good enough.

    I've seen a few threads regarding HDMI cables but I still haven't seen a single person say that they are able to pass a 4K signal via the HDMI in!!

    I've seen a few threads regarding HDMI cables but I still haven't seen a single person say that they are able to pass a 4K signal via the HDMI in!!

    Unfortunately, no. The HDMI passthrough on the Xbox One S does not support 4K.

    Xbox One X randomly disconnects all controllers during middle of game.

    have same problem. The weirdest part is that same controllers work perfectly on an old Xbox One S. Already sent it for repair. Same issue upon arrival. There’s something wrong with the new Xbox One X controller firmware I think. Microsoft hasn’t acknowledged
    it yet.
