    Can one mute Youtube while having Spotify run in the background?


    I have recently discovered how fun it is to run Spotify in the background while also having some 4K videos showing on Youtube. However, I don't see an option for muting Youtube (while in the foreground). Did any of experiment with this before?

    An audio mixer needs to be added to the settings

    You should be able to mute everything but one source so that you could do something like play music from spotify while playing a muted game. This is not currently possible except for the cases in which the games have built in audio mixers.

    Is there anyway to play music from one drive on xbox one?

    I recommend spotify. I don't think you can run it from One Drive.

    Xbox Wireless Headset issues on PC

    I am having same issue but just with Warzone on PC, i can play some other games like SMITE, Overwatch, Diablo 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Baldur's Gate 3... but warzone just mutes all sounds, cant listen anything like Spotify or Youtube with Warzone on background.

    Hello there Mikey,

    If you download the Spotify app on Xbox, you can absolutely listen to your own playlists. You can leave the app running while you play the games to enjoy it in the background.

    What won't happen is the music in games being automatically muted, so you might end up with music from both sources playing until you mute the game's music in its options.

    I miss being able to snap youtube and listen to it in the background. Not all videos on youtube are 100% visual for example comedy videos are mostly audio related. Anyways maybe a new update to the youtube app could allow it to play audio in the background
    like spotify, iheartradio and pandora.

    Maybe it works for you, you can open spotify and play music in the background while you play, a good list of lectro and forzahorizon is a good option or something of metal and gow 5 surely gives you a more aggressive experience
