Can one buy multiple 6 month Gold Memberships?

I have 3 vouchers to use for a discount on Xbox Live 6 Month Gold Membership, for use with an Xbox One S.

Can I buy three 6 month memberships, now, and get 18 months' of membership? Or does the membership lapse within 6 months of purchase, if not used within a defined period of time? I can't see any mention of what happens if I purchase 3 at once, but it seems
odd to offer three against a single purchase unless one can utilize them for an extended membership period.

The vouchers have to be redeemed within 2 weeks of purchase of the Xbox (for a Christmas present, with 2 included games), and, obviously, I don't want to buy vouchers my son can't use.

Hey there,

There are 2 ways to buy Xbox Live.

1. With 3months gold, 6 months gold and 12 months gold.

That contains, if you buy it one time and after the 3, 6 or 12 months gold period expire and you want a new one, you just can buy a new code.

2. Auto-renewal.

That contains, if your Gold period expire, they will get money from your bank account and you have new gold.

I have a question, my xbox live gold is expired today and i am wondering when i buy a 12 month gold card can play the next 7/6 month on the xbox one with the gold card?

Did you use a Trial-Code for your Gold-Membership?

When "Yes" - With a Trial-Membership you can't use Games with Gold or Deals with Gold - pls buy an normal Membership for 1, 3, 6 or 12 Month.

If you buy Gold membership for only one month, so you do not have to buy a membership for at least three months.

You said that you bought a full year xbox live gold membership. So, that's your problem, you had to have used the advertisement on your dashboard to participate the promotion (and by that way you can only buy 6 months, so I presume that you had used other
ways to buy your Gold membership). You couldn't had used a pre-paid card code or any other way to buy your gold membership, it must had to be using the advertisement. Sorry for the confusion.
