    Hi

    I usually stream the xbox to my PC with the companion app if some of the other family members want to use the TV. I often do this to watch youtube videos as I find the xbox controller nifty when browsing trough videos. This has always worked fine. From today
    Im getting an error: Can not use Youtube while streaming. Error code 0x87e10004

    What is this about? I have tried to cycle power on both PC and xbox but no luck. How can I get this working again?

    Has anyone figured out how to fix this strange behavior in the Windows 10 Xbox app? It's been plaguing me for months

    can you try one thing for me, uninstall the xbox companion app and restart the pc and then open the xbox app.

    How do I stream to YouTube?

    Hi Tyler,

    At the moment you can only stream your xbox to Twitch and Mixer, if you want to stream to Youtube, you'd need a PC/Laptop in order to do that.

    If you're still waiting for an Elgato (you'll still need a PC/Laptop for this), then for now you can use the Xbox Companion App and stream your Xbox there, then using software such as Streamlabs OBS or OBS to stream to Youtube.

    Xbox does not have an app or an option to stream directly to YouTube, it is only possible to stream to Mixer or Twitch. The only way you could stream to YouTube is through a PC with either a Capture card/device or by using the Console companion app to remote
    into your console and stream that app on your PC.

    You can do it by 2 ways:

    - Opening you 360 games on a Xbox One and stream it in Xbox Companion app in your pc

    - Use a video capture hardware

    Install the Xbox Companion app if you haven't installed it on your PC. Then open the Xbox app and see if you can create a chat party there.
