Can not start settings App

When I select Setting settings App goes full screen then sits there for ~30 seconds then exits back to the home screen.

I can play games, watch TV, and start other apps.

Any suggestions?

Hi!

Try to follow these instructions:

1) Select the Start->Settings->Time&Language. Under Date and time make sure the Set time automatically setting is turned on;

2) If not work, select the Start->Settings->Accounts, find the Microsoft account you used to sign in to the Xbox app and select "Remove". Then go back to the Xbox app and sign in with the Microsoft account you just removed.

If not work, you can run the
Microsoft Store app troubleshooter and check if that will fix the problem.

 

XBOX

Try not to remove the Xbox App from your PC, as this might cause problems with future updates through Windows Update.

The Xbox App is an app tile that does not consume resources, unless you have started it. If you check the Task Manager, and the Xbox App is there, you should see a green leaf next to that task. That means the app is unloaded from RAM to the hard drive, and
is not using processor resources.

You can set the settings in the Xbox App to not show notifications, and after you disabled every setting, you can then remove the Xbox App from the start menu, and you won't be bothered by the app.

 

Mine does this for most things. Try hard reset . Spam x if you can

 

When I looked in my download queue Forza 5 was in the queue, I put in the disk and it completed. After that a hard reset fix the problem.
