Can not sign into account

When i click to sign in, I put in my password and it just goes to a black screen. Help!!!!!

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently experiencing difficulties with being able to sign into your account on your Xbox One.

I just wanted to confirm with you, were you able to add your back onto your console after the factory reset?

If you are at least able to see the text box, you should be able to use the
Console Companion app as a keyboard, if you have your Device connections to allow the Xbox app on your console.

This can be done by following these simple steps:

Go to Settings.
Go under Devices & streaming.
Select Device connections.

Additionally, make sure you configure your app to connect to your console, as they will both need to be on the same network.

Give this a try and let us know if this works for you!

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.
