    Utterly overwhelmed trying to figure out how to link my gamertag to my Windows 8.1 Live account Can not set this Xbox as your primary :(

    Unfortunately there is no way to merge to accounts. But you can add your new email address to your existing live account.

    Easiest way is to add your new email address to the Microsoft account where your gamertag is bounded to. Then set this email address as primary address there. Before you can set it as primary email address you have to delete your new live account of course.
    You will then be able to log in to your pc and to your Xbox with the new primary email address.

    I think now i understand the problem of toxxicity.

    You have set a mail adress of your provider as primary mail adress whith which one you are logging in at your Xbox or at xbox.com. Right?

    The mail adress is the primary alias of the microsoft account and can be changed at

    account.live.com     .

    You can create there a new alias adress and set it as your primary alias.

    With this new primary alias you are able to log on at the Xbox One, xbox.com or other services of Microsoft.

    This error probably comes up because you changed 3 times in a year already.

    Contact official support for this matter.

    They can even reset your counter if needed.

    FH4- Feature is blocked per your Xbox Live parental control settings

    Please check family settings, you can have child restraints set in your console. If you have children, use a primary account that is primary and can change the settings to the family. And other profiles.

    Is your account set to primary on xbox? remember that an account can only be set as primary on one xbox at a time, never on two at the same time.

    Can you chane your wifi DNS settings through your xbox to primary 84.200.69.80 and secundary 84.200.70.40 if that doesn't help try google DNS settings primary 8.8.8.8 and secundary 8.8.4.4 if that doesn't resolve the problem please contact the custumor support
