    Can not send message to my friend even though account in good standing with Xbox Live


    Even though having an active Xbox Live Gold membership and account in good standing, can't send any message to my friend. I can receive the messages though.

    Also, tried everything as listed here: Why Can’t I Send Messages from Xbox One or Xbox App? and still the same, `Message failed to send`. Please help, thank you.

    Can't send messages even though my privacy settings allow it and my account is in good standing and never had action taken on it.

    Cant send messages to friends on xbox live with xbox one.

    hi, I have been chatting with Xbox live support because i can't send messages to friends on Xbox live, my settings allow this and my account is in good standing but I keep getting a message saying "message failed to send", when try of Xbox.com I get a message
    saying , "message failed to send please try again later", this has been happening for weeks now, I tried all the options with the live chat support helper and the next option was to ask for help on here ?

    here     and see if they help out. If you already have security proofs, remove and re-add them. Post back and let me know how it goes!

    Hi, I tried that, not working. Also, while trying to send a message from : Sign in to your Microsoft account it fails saying: "Because of your past behaviour, you
    will not be able to send any messages." which doesn't make sense as I never had any account until last month or so and can't even send messages since I got my XB1. Can not send message to my friend even though account in good standing with Xbox Live :(
