    Can not reinstall a game


    I uninstalled Fortnite, I now want to reinstall but its not allowing me to do so. Although the game is not showing on my home screen its is showing in the resume section. When I click on fortnite it takes me to the Microsoft store but does not give me
    the option to reinstall as it states "you own this game"

    Have a look in your 'my games and apps' section where it says 'ready to install' hopefully it is located there.

    Are you trying to install the game using the disc? In this case, errors can occur if an update is downloaded during the installation. A first troubleshoot you can try is to delete local files and install the game setting the console offline.

    If the game was purchased through your account then you should be able to find it as you own the game license. You need to Check your Xbox purchase history | Xbox Support just to make sure that the purchase was made through your account. If that's the case, we suggest removing your account the re-add it to your console and follow the steps below:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then select My games & apps > See all.
    2. Under Games, you will see all games you own.
    3. If a game you own has not yet been installed on your console, you will see a download icon on the game title. Selecting the title will prompt you to install the game if you want to play it.
    When you get the chance, go through those steps and let us know if that helped or if you had gotten stuck at any point.
