Can not redownload Xbox 360 profile on Xbox one

After hard resetting my Xbox one due to a problem I had, which solved my problem at the time now I can't redownload my Xbox 360 profile on my Xbox one as it has been downloading to halfway then dropping to a fourth of the way done then it gave me a message
saying Sorry, Xbox live profiles can not be downloaded right now. Try again later with the error code 80090304. Can I get some advice on what to do?

I fixed it.

Go to Xbox.com and find your security settings for your profile, then find "Xbox 360 Profile Protection" and set it to require the profile to redownload the profile every time you sign in (this will also sign you off of all 360 consoles you were previously signed into).

Since my 360 had been set up to automatically sign in, I'm thinking the Xbox One thought I was still signed in on my 360, and obviously you can't be signed in on multiple Xbox's on the same profile at the same time, so it flagged an error.

At least that's my guess. I also cleared my Xbox 360 local data and did a console restart.

Just follow those steps and it should hopefully be fixed.

Helo i have Same problém but only on my Xbox 360 profile on Xbox one profil working normaly only i cant connect online on backward compatible games. yes and i cant redownload 360 profil.

I have the same problem. I had to delete my account from the console and load it back, but on the backward compatible games wont download my profile. Has the same message as you. I hope you have a troubleshooting for this.

Also since it's just one profile having the issue you can try redownloading your profile:

Download your Xbox Live profile to a new console or redownload it

Sorry to hear that all this solution did not worked for you.

One last try, have you tried to redownload your profile in the 360 emulated console on Xbox One? You can start any 360 compatible game and press both start and back toghether to show up the 360 menu, than follow the path to redownload your profile.

when changing gamertags you always need to redownload the profile on the 360 or for 360 games as it cannot update the stored info

Do I have to redownload my profile on a 360 console? I'm assuming redownloading my profile through the 360 interface while on my Xbox One (or future consoles) will do the trick but I just want to double check.
