What error message/code do you receive when you try redeeming the code? Which Gears of War are you trying to redeem?

gears of war 1 , in the chat tell me is a versión problem because i have a Xbox one , and tel me si a común problem, the support chat Tell me just put a message in the forum and the support team give u a prívate message with instruction and a new code

If you can post the error message/code you receive, it will help narrow down the issue to find out if it is a problem with the code itself or another issue. Since Gears is backwards compatible, it doesn't matter if you're trying to play it on the One or
360. Gears 1 is region locked so usually the problem is region related.. If your account region does not match your physical location, the code will not work. You do have to be in a region where the game is available for download.

Change how you pay

Add a new way to pay and follow the steps . To Check your xbox región on your consolé go Home>SETTINGS>All settings >system> select lenguage and location

You may want to try going to Sign in to your Microsoft account and re-enter your account information even if it's already correct. If it still doesn't work, you'll want to try migrating your region (even if it is correct) Sign in to your Microsoft account

You'll receive a message on your xbox live profile with a redeemable code in it.

Send the code to your friend and he can redeem it.

the Xbox 360 calls the Microsoft account a Xbox live account.

you need to log in with a Microsoft account before you can redeem your code.
