Can not redeem Xbox live code ..

Hi people,

i bought a xbox one recently, had a 14days trial code that expired today and now i want to redeem the code i bought that day for 3 months, it doesn't work.

I get a massage saying that something got wrong, to retry later but i've been trying the whole day ...

i could really need some help, anyone knows a solution ? :/

Yes is did, i tried to redeem it on the xbox, on the website, i even tried redeeming it at my brothers house to test if it was the connection, asked a friend to try it by himself and nothing of all these fixed the problem...

I'm from luxembourg so i tried out with germany, france and luxembourg as region and nothing worked

I bought the code 14 days ago but i didnt use it, that means that shouldn't be the problem either ...

i'm have no clue what to try next...

 

Ok, there are a few reasons that the code will not work then.

1. You are accidentally typing in a different code - be sure that you are typing it in correctly. Sometimes O can be mistaken for 0 and B for 8

2. Gold codes are region locked - If your gamertag is not set for the same region that the code was meant for it will not work. Where did you purchase it from and which region (country) is your tag set for?

3. The code was not properly activated at the point of purchase - You'll need to contact the seller.

 

1. I'm pretty sure i'm typing it in correctly because it recognizes that it is a 3 months code and i have to click confirm, and at this point the message that something went wrong and to try again later comes.

2. Well i purchased it in Saturn in Luxembourg and i've tried already Luxembourg (and this is the actual region i have it set up now) as a region and it still doesnt work

3. that might be the only possibilty of the 3 above i didn't try yet

 

i had the same problem folks..i could not redeem my 3 month subscribtion to xbox live..i called xbox and found out that my membership had been suspended for some reason or other..i had the problem fixed within 10 minutes and i was back online..i would suggest
callin xbox and finding out if you have been suspended or not..explain to them the problem and they should fix it for you.. hope this helps

 

Well i just phoned microsoft and the woman told me that my code was all fine but that my code was a xbox 360 code, or she is right and i need to go exchange it or a friend of mine has also a code where "x360" was writtn but his code worked fine? i dont know...
i'm kind of tired of the situation and there is no quick solution ._.

 

Wow, really? There is no such thing as an Xbox 360 Live code or an Xbox One Live code. The code should work no matter what. You should try contacting phone support again to see if there's someone else who can help out.
