    Can Not play Xbox live Multi-Player -


    When I try to play on Xbox live Multi-Player I get a message saying 'the current profile is not allowed I play on Xbox live'. I have a gold membership that was renewed. I have tried Removing my profile and downloading it but that has not resolved the Issue.

    Greetings!

    This has been an ongoing issue since the system update that were pushed out in February 2014. Since this update was released to the public, users were unable to play multi-player games with a configured alternate MAC address for their console. This would
    range from users trying to connect to hotel Wi-Fi, or College/Univ. that are using 802.1x protocol for authentication in a Wi-Fi connected infrastructure.

    Ask for the possibility to have your Xbox One's MAC address added to the table of MAC addresses on the authentication server, which is often used with the 802.1x protocol, as the Xbox One doesn't support this particular protocol for authentication. A small
    fee may be added for this configuration, but at least you can keep the hardware address of your console as it is.

    Are you using the same credentials to log in here that you are to log into live? If so you are only showing silver here. Sometimes it takes a little while to sync everything up. You could try logging out and logging back in again. Let us know. Good

    Thx! That Jared my memory. I had given my son the renewal for the gold card which he thought he entered in.. I found the card with his equipment and it appears it was never entered. Thanks again

    Games can be installed offline as well.

    You only need xbox live gold to play games online (multi-player)

    Usually Co-op is followed by multiplayer when you're reading it. It takes more than one person to play therefore it is technically 'multi' player. However when people are talking about multi player they are usually referring to competitive multi player on
