Can not play online or multiplayer even though I have xbox live gold

    Can not play online or multiplayer even though I have xbox live gold


    I have confirmed my membership. My card was charged and I haven't been able to play onlinevery games or multiplayer. It keeps prompting me to buy it. I've deleted my profile on the xbox then added it ans still no go.

    I am also having same issue. Cannot play online multiplayer. You are not connected to xbox live... Even though I have a gold account.

    Would Gold still be value for money if online play wasn't included?

    If online multiplayer was free for Xbox Live I wouldn't buy Gold.

    I think it sucks that you have to buy a Gold account to play online, when it's free on other platforms, or to even access some none multiplayer online specific features in games.

    Sadly my friends are all on Xbox Live too so Gold it is, lol.

    At least the service is constantly updated though.

    Hey Kitty,

    Have you tried hard resetting your Xbox and reconnecting the internet to the console? If not try that then keep me in the loop and we can try some more trouble shooting steps to help you out.

    When I say online multiplayer I can play with other people online In games such as fortnite. But I can also play the gold games that are included as well even tho I'm sharing someone's gold live.
