Can not log into Xbox Live on minecraft pe

I have tried the xbox live app and have uninstalled the game twice and i still get the same screen. it says "sorry something went wrong give it another try or go to xbox.com. it has done this ever since i got my iphone back from apple and it got wiped.
so i dont know what the problem is it has been happening for months now and i cant take it. someone help me.
