Can not load some games

Unfortunately, physical games can't be played on an Xbox Series S console since it doesn't have a disc drive to read disc licenses.

As for your digital games, here are some things you could try:

• Power cycle your console:

1 - Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds, until it shuts down.

2 - Unplug the power cord from your console for 3 minutes.

3 - Plug everything back together and turn your console on

• Clear local saved games:

1 - Go to Settings > System > Storage devices > Clear local saved games.

This deletes all game-saved data from your console, this information should be backed up on the cloud if your console has been constantly connected to the internet

• If these games are installed on your external storage:

1 - Move them to the console's internal storage unit

2 - Turn your console off.

3 - Remove all external storage units from your console.

4 - Turn your console back on and try launching the games.

If these games are already installed on the console's internal storage, disregard step #1.

• Factory reset:

1 - Go to Settings > System > Console Info > Reset Xbox > Keep games and apps.

Just keep in mind you will need an internet connection and your account details (email and password) to complete this process.

*Resetting your console to its factory defaults erases all accounts, saved games, settings, and home Xbox associations. Anything not synchronized with Xbox Live will be lost. If your console has been constantly connected to the internet and Xbox Live services, your saved data should be backed up on the cloud.
