Can NOT Join Game or Invite Friends to Game on Xbox One.

IP address is public, matches, and my uPNP is enabled. Yet I still can't join my friend in his server. It worked before but now the options are just grey. I followed the steps I found on the support page of confirming IP and disabling then enabling the
uPNP and still no luck. I'm not sure what else I can do or why it's not working.

If anyone can help me that would be great. Thank you all for your time.

Game invites and comcast xfinity app

the xbox one need updates...a lot.... you can't invite people to the play the game unless they are followed(or on you friend list) comcast app is not on the one...the xbox one parties is acting stupid...etc. when are new updates coming. xbox 360 can go down
people friendlist and invite them to the game with the x button.

Can't invite freinds

Everytime I try to invite some one on my friends list the game opens my web browser to my home page. Am I missing something? How do I send an invite?

Few questions:

What game are you trying to play?

Have you checked your NAT (strict, moderate, open)?

Is your Xbox Live Membership current?

Is his server set to private?

Can he invite you to a game once he loads into his game?

Hi, no, all my friends are showing joinable and online on their consoles. It is happening on all gears titles that have been playing using the download codes that were received for playing gears ultimate on the Xbox one.

Is isn't just one friend, it's any friend that seems to be playing the original titles on their Xbox ones.

It is also the same for them as well, they can invite me to a party via the dashboard on the Xbox one but when it comes to the invite for a game, it doesn't show me to invite and the option at the bottom of the multiplayer lobby screen that states "invite
party to game" is greyed out and is unavailable.

Do you have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription? Because to play an online multiplayer game an Xbox Live Gold subscription is required.

It is asking you to buy an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate because Xbox Live Gold is also included in the bundle but you can still buy the Xbox Live Gold subscription individually.

To check if you have a subscription you can follow the steps below:

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, and then select System > Settings > Account > Subscriptions.

Ok, so the Xbox One preview. I know that the participants can send a invite to any of there friends. When a friend invites you, you can register for the preview after a certain verification then you can be invited ( so it is not a guarantee you will get
invited) the Xbox One preview.

So if you have any friends that are participating in the preview you can ask them if they want to invite you.
